An electricity supply failure can have extremely expensive outcomes in a chemical operation. We therefore do everything in our power to make sure it never gets to that. Our electricity grids are highly-available and extra redundant, from the external power utility to your connection at the chemical park GENDORF. A reliable network is also available for your natural gas requirements. The upstream network operator hands over the natural gas at a pressure of roughly 45 bar (overpressure). Natural gas is distributed within the chemical park at a pressure of 6 bar (overpressure).
