The task of a bursting disc is to open at a defined pressure and thus reduce impermissible overpressure or underpressure within a process. Toxic and valuable media must not escape and get lost during a process. A high-quality bursting disc fulfils exactly this requirement and enables a permanent leakage-free protection, which is an essential factor for operators due to existing regulations, laws and guidelines.
